Nicki Prati

Nicki Prati is a mother of one and a reading tutor of many. Having grown up with a mother who took her to the library often and a father who was an English and History teacher, she reaped the benefits of a literacy rich environment. Prior to venturing into the world of reading science, Nicki majored in psychology. She worked with children who had experienced trauma and adults with chronic mental health struggles for 15 years before becoming a mother. With piles of books at her child's side she unknowingly ventured into the world of struggling readers when her own child showed signs of difficulty at a young age.
